established in 2008, is owned by Dr. Nasser El-Tayyar, president and general deputy of El-Tayyar Group for Tourism and Travel. It is one of the leading travel agencies with its head office at Cairo International Airport.

Nile Air, second only to Egypt Air, is the first private full service Egyptian airline that operates scheduled services to destinations in Egypt and the Middle East, Persian Gulf, Southern Europe and Africa. It has been established to operate national and international regular and charter flights from Egypt to Saudi Arabia , Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Sudan, Iraq, Turkey and Oman. The national flights include Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, Alexandria, Luxor and Aswan.

With its 14 airlines, Nile Air is officially the owner of the largest network of airlines among airline companies that run flights between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Currently, the company provides regular services from 3 Egyptian cities to 10 airports in Saudi Arabia. In addition to operations from its hub at Cairo International Airport, the airline operates a smaller base from Alexandria’s Borg El Arab Airport and Sharm el-Sheikh, it operates regular lines to destinations in Saudi Arabia that include the cities of Abha, El-Ahsaa, El-Jawf, El-Qasseim, jizan, Jeddah, Reyadh, Ta’if, Tabuk, Yanbu and Sakakah. All these services are at very good prices and provide unprecedented flexibility in addition to more option and greater comfort and ease for the passengers whether they are travelling on business, making holidays or visiting their relatives and friends.

Nile Air uses a fleet of five Airbus A320-200s and one Airbus A321-200s. Each plane has 8 business class and from 156 to 196 economy class seats.

At the beginning of 2017, In addition to being among the main sponsors of the Egyptian national football team, the company became the official airline carrier of the team, the first deal of its kind. It carried the team to Gabon to take part in the Cup of African Nations where they got the silver medal for coming second in the championship.

Nile Air has started a partnership with LSG Sky Chefs the world’s largest provider of airline catering. LSG Sky Chefs is the brand name of LSG Lufthansa Service Holding AG. This step was made to offer more variety of Egyptian and Middle Eastern flavors for business and tourist class passengers.
